My name is Lisa Snell, I joined Ealing Eagles as a beginner in April 2013. I used to be quite an active member of the club but haven’t lately. I won the club ballot in 2019 to run the London Marathon and choose through London Marathon to run the first April race after them holding it in October for two years. I did run the Virtual London Marathon on the 3rd October 2021 for the fun of it and it went so well that I hope next year lives up to this too.
I am not starting my training until the beginning of January. I have looked for my plan I followed last time but couldn’t find it so have noted runs from Strava I did last time. I am hoping the snow has finished and we don’t get any next year and the weather is kind to me.
Between now and the New Year it’s time to have a massage and find a pair of trainers I feel comfortable in, I have 3 to choose from.
Hopefully I will get to do a few club runs in training during the week and meet a few Eagles I don’t know.
